Experimental Study and Finite Element Analysis of Tube Semi Hydroforming

Abstract:

Today metal forming is one of the common industry in automotive industry and gas industry. Accelerated development of technology and competitive market of the foregoing industries has led to the production of more strength, lighter products and shortening production process. For this reason it’s necessary to use raw material and development of advanced processes to produce. There for researchers and craftsmen have considered into advanced processes of production with flexibility.
In this research the possibility of T shaped three way pipeline forming have been studied with an innovative ballforming. According to simulation and experiments the production of T shape three way of copper with ball forming have been successful. Today according to the inherent complexity of forming process and the development of finite element software it’s necessary to use it. The accurate finite element model have been simulated with ABAQUS for investigation of ballforming. The experimental study and making experiments exuipment have been taken. The result have been reported in final chapter and the experiments and simulation have been compared. The suggestions have been mentioned for improvement of process in future work.
